28/01/2019 - With a new theme and new colours, Starwave will soon be running leadership searches for the three clans. We also have worked out a few little bugs too. The joining incentive is going to run from now until the end of February, so instead of bringing one character to copper level, you can still bring two, and their companion as well! You are welcome to break this up as well. So, come join us, and let's see what goes on! With more people, hopefully, we intend to run events and make the site more PvE. Clan leadership will be opened soon too, hopefully!

26/11/2018 - Starwave is ready to go! There are still pieces to flatten, to make better, but its time to open and see how it all goes. Tis exciting to do so! Please feel free to advertise, tell people, etc and let's go. Once a few have joined, the first event will happen which is going to be finding clan leaders! Subforums in those areas are open for claiming too if you'd like them! Excited! Let's have some fun!

23/11/2018 - Much is done! Lands, guidebook is finished, profiles (save for the --> I can't work out what displaying that its driving me insane!) But I'm happy with everything and the progess of whats happening. I have some subforums to add to the clan lands, and then it will be almost ready to go for an opening and a beginning. There will be a SWP very early after opening too!

11/11/2018 - Starwave is underway. This is the first OOC news entry!

28/01/2019 - Starwave has seen quite a few new arrivals, and the clans are stirring. More arrive every day - and some of the Inherent and skeptical, some welcoming and others flat out angry and upset. However, they are accepting and soon, they will be seeking clan leaders - who will they be?

26/11/2018 - The time has come. Starwave's portals are open; the world is pulling newcomers to the shores. What will happen now?

The forest way always what she had considered the closest thing to a home and sanctuary. Here in the thickness of the deep, dark woods where others chose not to go was where the forest witch dwell. Rumors swelled around her like the mist of a humid morning. She enjoyed her peace and time away from gawking eyes and mouths that dribbled words just to shatter the silence that they feared.

The two toned mare tends to the little plants that grow so eagerly between shrug and stems. Ruby tinged eyes are keep, their dark pupils wary of prying eyes. The woman pauses mid step, the silver fore hoof lifted as she filters the sounds of the forest, searching for the hitch of a breath of the thud-thud of an intruding heartbeat. Phynn, her hyena, watches with curious eyes as his mistress has suddenly gone rigid. The animal rises from his resting place to take the woman's side.

A single ear flickers, a red eye gazes on, there was someone in the woods. The antlered mare tilts her head ever so slightly and Phynn moves forward to investigate. Many underestimate a hyena's senses. Their acute sense of hearing, sight and smell make them very good tracking companions. Keres lifts her head, moving after the spotted beast, his movements quick and low, the tall mare moving behind him closely.

Adahlen Mae
Daughter of the Forest

Adahlen isn’t lost.

Not exactly.

She knows where she is in a general sense, and she does know how to get back home from here, but she’s lost in wonder as she explores the ghostly forest of red leaves. She’d seen such trees before in between travelling from place to place with her family, but never in such an expansive forest as the one she found herself in.

Asala, her father’s companion spirit, was nearby somewhere still; where exactly, she wasn’t sure, but the thrill of adventuring alone made a playful little smile dance across her velvety lips. Whilst she feels at home in forests, and typically looks at home in one too, that is not the case this time. She is a very stark contrast against the red and orange hues of the leaves on the ghostly trees; her earthy tones and vibrant greens stand out as starkly as the moon in the night sky.

But, despite her youthful eagerness to explore alone, she is not so distracted as to not listen to the world around her. She can hear that she is not alone, and something sends a shiver down her spine that makes her decide that trying to find a place to blend in was probably a good idea.

But where?

She stuck out like crazy, there was no way she was going to blend in with the trees… Ah, but the rocks! The rocks by the little creek she’d crossed over before were covered in moss and there were a few small green plants… It was better than nothing.

The filly manages to wedge herself between the water and a fair sized boulder covered in moss with a couple of plants on its far side, tucking her legs in under herself and trying to make herself seem as small as possible whilst utilising her branches and leaves to camouflage herself the best she could.

She isn’t scared, just… cautious.
