28/01/2019 - With a new theme and new colours, Starwave will soon be running leadership searches for the three clans. We also have worked out a few little bugs too. The joining incentive is going to run from now until the end of February, so instead of bringing one character to copper level, you can still bring two, and their companion as well! You are welcome to break this up as well. So, come join us, and let's see what goes on! With more people, hopefully, we intend to run events and make the site more PvE. Clan leadership will be opened soon too, hopefully!

26/11/2018 - Starwave is ready to go! There are still pieces to flatten, to make better, but its time to open and see how it all goes. Tis exciting to do so! Please feel free to advertise, tell people, etc and let's go. Once a few have joined, the first event will happen which is going to be finding clan leaders! Subforums in those areas are open for claiming too if you'd like them! Excited! Let's have some fun!

23/11/2018 - Much is done! Lands, guidebook is finished, profiles (save for the --> I can't work out what displaying that its driving me insane!) But I'm happy with everything and the progess of whats happening. I have some subforums to add to the clan lands, and then it will be almost ready to go for an opening and a beginning. There will be a SWP very early after opening too!

11/11/2018 - Starwave is underway. This is the first OOC news entry!

28/01/2019 - Starwave has seen quite a few new arrivals, and the clans are stirring. More arrive every day - and some of the Inherent and skeptical, some welcoming and others flat out angry and upset. However, they are accepting and soon, they will be seeking clan leaders - who will they be?

26/11/2018 - The time has come. Starwave's portals are open; the world is pulling newcomers to the shores. What will happen now?

"Water is patient. Water just waits. Wears down the cliff tops, the mountains. The whole of the world. Water always wins." ~ The Doctor; Doctor Who - Waters on Mars.

Almost like a thing from the wildest of dreams, Mizumi is a swirl of colours; blues & teals, pinks & purples. The texture of the skin is like very fine scales and yet also with natural dampness that feels like silk. Around various parts of the body, most notably the upper torso area (shoulders, check, neck, face) there are obvious patches of scales with an opalescent effect.

Both front legs are blue to the knees before transitioning into pinky-purples, with a teal-green glow from mid-chest to mid-throat, and purple and pink shoulders with a lighter blue along the arch of the neck. From the barrel over the rump and partially down both back legs are a glowing teal-green to blue transition, before ankles and feet change to purple and pink. A prehensile tail, of sorts, transitions from pinky-purples into teal and a light blue at the tip, where it ends in a sort of barbed end; a row of 9 deep pink spikes grow from the base of the tail.

The head is where things get a little more interesting. The tip of the nose is a bright blue, transitioning into the deep pinky-purple, with a teal glow around the cheek; from the nose grows two small light blue horns, and from the top of the head grow two backward-curved horns; from within these two horns hangs an odd strand that appears to be similar to that of a lantern fish's lantern. From each side of the head where normally one ear would grow, there are three. Waving all around the neck and head like hair under the water is the mane; this is mostly a mix of deep pinks-almost-reds and purple, but with slight glowing blue strands that seem to 'frame' the rest of the mass - the texture is more akin to seagrass than hair.

Within the body, notably in the barrel area where the skin appears translucent, there are a few small fish swimming about as if swimming in water. Should the flesh ever be broken (by cut, slice, stab, etc), rather than bleeding red blood, a glowing white ooze with a slightly runny consistency will seep out, reminiscent in the way water may leak through a small hole.

Whilst there is no physically apparent tell on biological gender, Mizumi has a more feminine appearance than masculine, and has a naturally soft and sweet voice like the gentle crashing of waves on the beach.

This body stands at 15hh.

There is wonder to be found in everything, even what may be the most simple or mundane to another, and there is an eagerness and excitement to discover. Whilst Mizumi knows very little of the surface world, there is enough basic knowledge to understand how some things work. However, there is somewhat of a language barrier.

Water does not speak, and yet this creature now has its own voice. Water does not hear, and yet this creature now has its own ears.

Mizumi understands the words of others, to a point. It can take some time for their meanings to become apparent, however, so often there is a delay in acknowledgement or response; this is not intentional ignorance, though some may see it as such.

Due to both appearance and often sound of voice, it is not uncommon for Mizumi to be referred to as female/she/her; there is no preference, as the mind does not entirely comprehend what it means, and so there is no disdain or possibilities of offence being taken should specific choices for reference be made by others.

Mizumi was not born, but created - created out of water; but not just by anyone. This creature of water was given life by none other than a God of Fire. Curious, isn't it? What made Helios, the brother of the three sibling Gods of Eternal, want to create life instead of destroying it?

This information remains unknown to Mizumi. This body was created when Helios' magic infused with the water at his shrine; it seems likely that it was at this contact that the magic sparked something with the microorganisms within the water, and a body inspired by both his own physical presence mixed with the mysteries of the ocean, came to form.

Little was exchanged between the two before Mizumi left the shrine, following the water wherever it went. In this strange place there were strange creatures, and yet there was one in particular who was both unknown and known to her. A creature of both land and sea: a kraken. Mizumi liked this one.

But their time was brief and Mizumi returned to the waters, disappearing like melting ice back into the depths. For how long is unknown, for the water does not measure time, but the form will be created again by its own will and return to explore new places soon enough.

Water Mimicry: Due to Mizumi's unique circumstances of being made from water, it is unsurprising that this creature has the ability of Water Mimicry. At this stage, all this really means is that the physical form can revert back entirely into water; it is useful for travelling, more than anything else.

Water Manipulation: Mizumi can create, shape, and in general manipulate water. Whilst many would use such an ability for such things as attack or defence, Mizumi uses it for fun (making floating balls of water, or little creatures, etc) as well as a tool to removal obstacles should something be in the way that is too inconvenient to find another way around.

Light Manipulation: This is used exclusively as a passive ability, as Mizumi's body emits a low bioluminescent glow; Light Manipulation automatically adjusts this glow depending on the lighting of the surrounding area.
